Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
During this last election I realized that many people now feel that the fight against abortion is a lost cause and are now focusing on other “important issues.” I cannot even imagine what can be more important than fighting for life and against the murder of the innocent. If Martin Luther King, Jr. had given up, or if Rosa Parks sat down as she was told, or if the many men and women that devoted their lives to racial equality had backed down, our world would be a different place. Fortunately, we do not have to think that way because they did fight and they did stand up.
As Christians we need to fight for life!
That’s why Wellum’s Couples is participating in the Red Envelope Protest against Abortion.
Today, you received a Red Envelope. Send your empty, red envelope(s) to the White House on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Address the front to: President Barack Obama, The White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, D.C. 20500. On the back write, “This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world.” Fast and pray over your envelope, the unborn and the president then mail it on March 31, 2009.
Your sister in Christ,
Andi Graig
